Friends of the Norfolk Public Library presents an evening with literary ambassador and PBS resident librarian, Mychal Threets, who will speak about "The Importance of Libraries." Mychal was named one of Time Magazine's Emerging Leaders of 2024. FNPL proudly sponsors this event in celebration of the 60th anniversary of its Book Review Contest.

This event is free; however, due to space constraints, there are no reserved seats. Standing room will also be available.
