WHAT WE DO

The library provides expert assistance and free access to an incredible range of materials. From the classics to business journals, beloved children's books to Internet access, biographies to video blockbusters, the latest fiction to current events, you'll find it at the library. The FNPL ensures that the library remains a vital and progressive force in the life of our community.

LITTLE FREE LIBRARIES (LFLs)

Chances are good you've seen some of the 90+ LFLs in yards or inside community buildings and retail shops. Email us here for your application to receive free LFL registrations and plaques  as well as info about starting your own LFL.

BOOK REVIEW CONTEST

This annual contest encourages reading, writing, and critical thinking as well as a wider use of the library. It’s open to grades 4-12, and includes public, private, and homeschooled students. Winners will be announced soon.

SUMMER READING PROGRAM

Each summer, NPL offers an array of special events at its neighborhood libraries, all made possible with support from the FNPL. This includes anything from magic shows and author visits, to ballet classes and concerts.

BOOKS & BREW & RECYCLED READS

This annual event puts the FUN in FUNdraiser. Proceeds go to library programming for all NPL branches. Our next Books & Brew will be on Friday, Nov. 1. Watch for Recycled Reads used book sales in the meantime.
